“So Jesus explained, “I tell you the truth, the Son can do nothing by Himself. He does only what He sees the Father doing. Whatever the Father does, the Son also does.” John 5:19 NLT
It takes me a while to nail down a routine once school is out, but I eventually do.
Having a daily schedule keeps me on track. Without one, I tend to flounder.
Schedules are helpful, until they aren’t.
Jesus controlled His schedule according to His Father’s plan. His schedule did not control Him. He did what He saw His Father doing.
So, what’s the Father doing? To name a couple of things, the Father is shining light into the darkness and seeking the lost.
Before delving into your day, turn it over to God and pray! Ask Him to show you what He is doing. Let His light shine through you and keep your eyes open to see who needs a touch from God.
If you’re too busy to do what the Father is doing, you’re too busy!
Great is God’s Faithfulness! 💚 Deb
Just a good reminder Deb. Let the schedule not control us.

Deb, it is true we often let our schedules control our lives. Lord, help me follow your path; do as You are doing and go where you are guiding. Enjoy your summer! 🌺
