Because of the miraculous signs Jesus did in Jerusalem at the Passover celebration, many people were convinced that He was indeed the Messiah. But Jesus didn’t trust them, because He knew what people were really like. No one needed to tell Him about human nature.” John 2:23-25
Can Jesus trust you?
Jesus knew who the fake followers were! He knew who was with Him and who wasn’t and called them out by asking, “So why do you keep calling me Lord, Lord, when you don’t do what I say?”
Do you trust Jesus?
Trusting Jesus as Lord and Savior isn’t what we say; it is what we do!
Jesus said, ”I’ll show what it’s like when someone comes to me, listens to My teaching, and then follows.
”It’s like a person building a house who digs deep and lays the foundation on solid rock.
When the flood waters rise and break against that house, it stands firm because it is well built.
But anyone who hears and doesn’t obey is like a person who builds a house right on the ground without a foundation.
When the floods sweep down against that house, it will collapse into a heap of ruins.” Luke 6:46-49.
How firm is your faith?
During Jesus’ ministry, many of His disciples withdrew and were not walking with Him anymore, so Jesus turned to the twelve and asked, “Are you also going to leave?” Simon Peter replied, “Lord, to whom would we go? You have the words that give eternal life. We believe, and we know you are the Holy One of God.” John 6:66-69.
Are you with Him until the end?
Can Jesus trust you to walk with Him through thick and thin, good times and bad? Are you with Him until the end? Remember, it’s not what we say, it’s what we do that proves we indeed believe that He is the Messiah.
Great is God’s Faithfulness~❤️Deb
Our actions show us as Christians. Your post reminded me of: “Whoever claims to live in Him must live as Jesus did.” 1John 2:6 Blessings! 🌼🦋🌻

These are definitely questions we need to ask ourselves on a consistent basis, Ms. Deb. I was convicted to really pause and ponder if my allegiance to Christ is firmly rooted in solely Him. Thank you.

The church I used to go to was full of fake followers and that made me so sad. Our actions speak louder than words.
