For we walk by faith, not by sight. II Corinthians 5:7
If I were to ask the question, “Where is God?” your answer would probably be “Everywhere!,” and you would be correct.
There’s not a place–past, present, or future that God has been, is, or will be! God is omnipresent!
If God is everywhere, are you aware of His presence, or do you feel disconnected and distant from God?
It is possible to believe in the omnipresence of God and not be aware of His presence. We become aware of God’s presence when His manifest presence is awakened.
God loves us and longs to disclose His presence to us. If you long to experience the expression of God’s presence in your life, decide to do whatever it takes, and invite Him to make His presence known to you!
Pursue Christ as your One and Only Passion!
Pursue revival, the “overwhelming sense of God’s presence that falls powerfully on a Christian people who have become dead and lethargic in their spiritual lives, reviving those elements of the Christian life that God intends to be normal for his church.”
Cultivate your relationship with Christ through Bible reading/study, prayer, and service.
Respond to God’s initiatives so you’ll be in the right place at the right time when He shows up!
Expect to encounter God through His Spirit in a way that you can powerfully sense, whenever God decides that it’s the right time and place to show up in your life that way.
Remember, repent, and return to your First Love!
Draw near to God with confidence, reverence, and the respect that He deserves.
Let go of whatever is distracting you from running after Christ!
Open your head and heart to the voice of the Holy Spirit.
Let God’s presence transform you into the person He wants you to become.
On the days when His presence is not clear or obvious to you, do not be discouraged. Keep walking by faith until your faith becomes sight.
~Blessings❤️

Lovely reminder Deb. I recently read that if you don’t feel close to God anymore it is because we have moved away and not Him. God is right there and we need to draw closer to Him. May we let go of what is obstructing us from pursuing Him.
Blessings to you Deb 😊💙

My Sunday School teacher taught us the same thing, “If you don’t feel close to God, guess who moved.” We are always the one to move away! I am thankful He never does, so when we return, He is waiting with open arms💚 Blessings to you, too!

I’ve noticed that if I don’t read the Bible and study His Word I feel like He’s not there. But I realize He’s still there – it’s me that’s not.

Deb, your discussion is so thorough and organized. Sometimes our lives resemble chaos instead of order, and God is still walking with us.
