I rarely remember a funny joke, but when this one came to my mind today, I couldn’t keep it to myself. I had to share it!
Scientists, “God, we can now clone humans, make life, and take care of ourselves. We don’t need You anymore.” God laughed and said, “You think? Show me how you can make humans and life!” The scientist agreed, reached down, grabbed a full hand of dirt to start making his human, when God promptly stopped him and said, “Whoa, not so fast. You use your own dirt!.”😂🤣😂
Last week my friend and I met at the trails for a much-needed “social-distancing” walk 🚶🏼♀️🚶🏼♀️. Whenever the conversation circled back around to COVID-19, she ended many of her sentences with, “I don’t know, Deb. I just don’t know.” We both laughed because I kept saying, “I don’t know,” too! She said her husband even told her, “Do you realize how many times you say, “I don’t know?” 🤷♀️
Well, I believe, “I don’t know, or We don’t know” is the most honest answer we can give or receive right now, because “WE DON’T KNOW!” Doctors and scientists are baffled. They haven’t seen anything like it!
Since I “don’t know” and it seems like others ”don’t know,” either, I thought I would share with you some of the things I do know from the One Who is all-knowing!
🌷For I know that the Lord is great and that our Lord is above all gods. Psalms 135:5
🌷I am praying to you because I know you will answer, O God, bend down and listen as I pray. Psalms 17:6
🌷I know the Lord is always with me. I will not be shaken, for He is right beside me. Psalms 16:8
🌷Then man’s enemies will turn back in the day when I call; This I know, that God is for me. Psalms 56:9
🌷Now we see things imperfectly, like puzzling reflections in a mirror, but then we will see everything with perfect clarity. All that I know now is partial and incomplete, but then I will know everything completely, just as God now knows me completely. I Corin. 13:12
🌷I know that You can do all things and that no purpose of Yours can be thwarted. Job 42:2
🌷For this reason, I also suffer these things, but I am not ashamed; for I know whom I have believed and I am convinced that He is able to guard what I have entrusted to Him until that day. II Timothy 1:12
I bet you have said, “I don’t know” a few times yourself! When you find yourself thinking or saying, “I don’t know,” stop 🛑 ask the Holy Spirit to remind you of what you do know. Now is a good time to memorize and meditate on scripture so you will have God’s Word in your heart ❤️ at all times!
~Blessings,
Deb💚
Deb, I loved this post and the scriptural quotes of “I know.” I just wanted to add Jeremiah 29:11 For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. 🕊

Amen! He is the only One who brings sense to this unbelievable situation we are going through. I’m thankful He is by my side, and I don’t have to walk this road alone!

I loved the joke! 😂 I know I’ve said that too, “I don’t know.” But great point, we need to focus on what and WHO we do know. He is our answer. We don’t have to understand everything. Thanks Deb! 🤗
