Discovering the Peace of God isn’t hard at all when we APPROPRIATE God’s Word to our lives. For instance, Philippians 4:1-9 makes it very clear how to have the Peace of God. Follow me, and I’ll show you what I’m talking about!
🌸Verse 1~Stay true to the Lord!
🌸Verse 2~Settle disagreements!
🌸Verse 3~Help others!
🌸Verse 4~Always be full of joy in the Lord!
🌸Verse 5~Share the Good News!
🌸Verse 6~Don’t worry! Pray! Be thankful!
🌸Verse 7~WHEN you APPROPRIATE God’s Word, THEN, you will experience the Peace of God, which exceeds anything you can understand. God will guard your heart 💕 and your mind when you APPROPRIATE His Word.
🌸Verse 8~Fix your thoughts on what is true, honorable, right, pure, lovely, admirable, excellent, and worthy of praise!
🌸Verse 9~Keep putting into PRACTICE all the TRUTH you’ve been taught, THEN the Peace of God will be with you.
The man who had been ill for 38 years would still be laying on his mat, if he hadn’t APPROPRIATED Jesus’ word to his life when Jesus said, “Get up, pick up your pallet and walk.” (John 5:1-9)
The servants at the wedding feast would still need wine if they hadn’t APPROPRIATED Jesus’ words to their situation when He told them, “Fill the jars with water, dip some out and take it to the headwaiter.” (John 2:1-11)
We are walking through some very trying times. We must stand firm, IN THE LORD, and APPROPRIATE every word of TRUTH that we know from the Word of God. If you don’t know much, start reading, studying, and APPROPRIATING everything you learn, and when you do, the supernatural Peace of God will guard and protect your heart and your mind.
Blessings, friends🌷

“Therefore, my dear brothers and sisters, stay true to the Lord. I love you and long to see you, dear friends, for you are my joy and the crown I receive for my work. Now I appeal to Euodia and Syntyche. Please, because you belong to the Lord, settle your disagreement. And I ask you, my true partner, to help these two women, for they worked hard with me in telling others the Good News. They worked along with Clement and the rest of my co-workers, whose names are written in the Book of Life. Always be full of joy in the Lord. I say it again—rejoice! Let everyone see that you are considerate in all you do. Remember, the Lord is coming soon. Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done. Then you will experience God’s peace, which exceeds anything we can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus. And now, dear brothers and sisters, one final thing. Fix your thoughts on what is true, and honorable, and right, and pure, and lovely, and admirable. Think about things that are excellent and worthy of praise. Keep putting into practice all you learned and received from me—everything you heard from me and saw me doing. Then the God of peace will be with you.”

Thank you Deb! I was so encouraged by this post. This spoke to my heart by reminding me the peace of God is not something we passively achieve. We receive it by taking action and pursuing Christ. Faith without works is dead. 💚

I love how you broke this down! This is such an encouragement right now. It’s easy to let all the crazy get the best of us if we’re not focused on Him.

What you said is true! Even after writing this post, I had to stop and remind myself this afternoon to walk in truth and trust in the Lord. He sees all and knows all! He’s in all of our tomorrows and there is nothing to fear! God bless you!
