Do not trust in your own abilities, but trust in the One who can raise the dead from the grave. II Corinthians 1:8b-9.
Today, who or what are you trusting in? Your bank account, the government, yourself, or God, the One who can raise the dead from the grave?
A dear friend of mine works from home counseling people through financial crises. As you can imagine, her workload is literally ringing off the wall!
Under normal circumstances, she would answer their questions as well as addressing other financial burdens, but due to the volume of calls she now receives, she has been told to “give the customer what they need and move on.”
What is it you need right now so you can move on?
Assurance that your needs are going to be met?
My God will supply all your needs according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:19
Wondering what to do next?
Trust in the Lord with all your heart. Lean not unto your own understanding, but acknowledge Him in all your ways and He will direct your path. Proverbs 3:5-7
Freedom from fear, loneliness, anxiety, and depression?
Do not fear, for I am with you; Do not anxiously look about you, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, surely I will help you. Surely I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.” Isaiah 41:10
Hope?
For I know the plans I have for you, says the Lord. They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope. Jeremiah 29:11
Jesus?
For this is how God loved the world: He gave His one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in Him will not perish, but have eternal life. God sent His Son into the world not to judge the world, but to save the world through Him. John 3:16-17
Most, if not every day, God reminds me to “Be anxious for nothing, but to pray about everything with thanksgiving,” and when I do, “the peace of God that I cannot begin to understand guards my heart and my mind in Christ Jesus.” (Philippians 4:6-7).
I honestly don’t understand how God does it, but He has never failed to bring peace to my heart when I appropriate His Word to my life.
I encourage you to trust in the One who can raise the dead, to meditate on these scriptures and believe God by applying His Word. When you do, He will change your heart, build your faith, and give you the strength you need to move on.
~Blessings ❤
