Every day, the class eats a snack before going home. This class has a few picky eaters, so I often hear, “I don’t like that,” 😩 and when I do, I say “If you don’t like your snack, put it on my desk and don’t make a big deal out of it.”🤐
Earlier this week, I had two people put their snack on my desk without giving me a rundown on their likes and dislikes! When I asked whose snacks they belonged to, I was surprised 😲 because one belonged to my BIGGEST complainer! I was so thrilled 😁 that I looked for two well-deserved “Good Manners” stickers to bestow upon them!
After my discreet presentation, one of my little fellas said, “Mrs. Deb, I don’t like these crackers.” To which I replied, “Okay, put them on my desk.”
After putting them on my desk, he just stood there staring at me.🤓
“Do you need anything else?” I asked.
He replied, “Aren’t you going to give me a sticker?”🤩
I shook my head and said, “No, it looks to me like you enjoyed your crackers since you ate half of them.”😉
He confessed he did like his crackers, but before returning to his seat, he paused one more time to ask, ”Mrs. Deb, may I have my crackers back?”😂
Clever little guy! Trying to get a sticker and have his crackers too! Lol. 🤣😂
