With school starting this week, I’ve been hard-pressed to finish the blog I’ve been working on the past couple of days, so I’ll share a funny short, but sweet PreK story with youπ
Today in PE, Coach had our littles run three full laps in the gymπββοΈπββοΈ. At the end of the third lap, they were huffing and puffing pretty loudly. While they were catching their breath, I overheard some saying, “I’m tired π. I don’t want to run.” So, I gave the class my “Why We Run” pep talk that went something like this, “Boys and girls, running is good for us. Running makes our legs stronger, our heart stronger, our lungs stronger…..”. I thought of everything I could think of that running made stronger. When I finished, one little girl looked up at me and said, “Mrs. Deb, I don’t feel stronger; I just feel tired!” π
I love this!! Kids are so honest! Lol! π
