Thank you, Dawn, Drawing Closer to Christ, for nominating me for the Random Acts of Kindness Award.  I am relatively new to the blogging world, so it means a lot that you would think of me.  This is my first “Award,” and I am honored to share a paragraph of something that has impacted my own life in the way of receiving kindness.

My Story:  For the past two years, I have been walking a road that I never dreamed I would be on, and God is making sure that I’m not alone.  Almost daily, He provides random acts of kindness through friends, and sometimes people I barely know.  During this time, I have been the recipient of calls, cards, help, and gifts, but most of all, friendship, love, genuine concern, and prayers.  I am humbled by the love and support I have received from others.  Every act of kindness is an expression of God’s love and His assurance that I am not alone.
