I have a box full of hopes, dreams, fears, future events, what-ifs, doubts, things I’m waiting on, and the list goes on and on and on! In my box is everything that I can think of that I have given over to God. At this point, it’s pretty full, but not full enough that the lid won’t close. It’s a box that keeps growing.
My box isn’t tangible, but I can see it. I pack it often, and it sits in the corner of my mind, like the package on my desk that I need to send. I get anxious thinking about mailing it. Letting go of my box is like casting all of my burdens on God, but it is the right thing to do. God doesn’t need me to keep on an eye on things. He needs me to trust Him.
Trust Him, I will do! Letting go and letting God…….!
- 1 Peter 5:7, “casting all your anxiety on Him because He cares for you.”
- Luke 1:37, “For nothing will be impossible with God.”
- Philippians 4:19, “And my God will supply all your needs according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus.”
- Matthew 6:34, “Do not worry about tomorrow; for tomorrow will care for itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.
How about you? Is there anything that you’re still keeping an eye on? God doesn’t need you to keep an eye on things, He needs you to trust Him! Let go and let God take care of you!
